Manufacturing Technician (Thin Film & Etch)

Join us as a Manufacturing Technician (Thin Film & Etch) at FormFactor Inc.

Position Overview

FormFactor Inc., a leader in semiconductor test and measurement products, is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Technician to support our advanced manufacturing processes. This role involves working in a dynamic environment focused on the production of semiconductor devices used across various high-tech industries.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Complete all paperwork accurately and maintain proper product separation by job and lot number.
  2. Collaborate with quality assurance on product appearance and performance.
  3. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the TFE & Metrology areas, fostering a professional work environment.
  4. Work the C shift (6am - 6:15pm, Thursday to Saturday, and every other Wednesday) in a 12-hour shift schedule, with overtime pay for hours over 8 per shift.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in 300mm wafer processing, including sputter, dry etch, and wet etch processes.
  • Experience with substrate cleaning, vacuum sputter deposition, plasma dry etching, and metrology tools such as Hologenix, CD measurement Cyber, XRF, Dage shear, and Z-scope.
  • At least 2 years of technical education, with proficiency in chemical handling and wafer inspection for MEMS devices.
  • Strong communication skills, detail-oriented, and capable of following instructions accurately.
  • Experience with photolithography processes is a plus.
Compensation & Benefits

The pay range is $23.25 to $30.50 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, disability insurance, life insurance, flexible spending accounts, 401(k), ESPP, and paid time off.
