Job summary

AGC Automotive Americas in Elizabethtown, KY is seeking a Production Associate to support seamless glass manufacturing on the line. You will focus on safety, quality, and material flow while following standard procedures to meet production goals.

The ideal candidate will have a High School diploma or GED, basic Windows skills, and a willingness to learn problem solving tools and quality standards in a manufacturing environment. Training and growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• NCRC Silver preferred.
• Ability to learn problem solving tools such as Six Sigma, Fishbone, KT, 8D, etc.
• Basic knowledge of Windows computer system.
• Ability to learn quality standards for production.

Responsibilities

• Ensures safety of self and others in production area and notifies supervisor or safety team of concerns.
• Operates equipment per production procedures to meet quality and customer satisfaction.
• Supplies line with raw materials as required.
• Operates stand-up or sit-down fork trucks safely and efficiently.
• Performs periodic quality checks according to procedures.
• Troubleshoots line or quality concerns as needed.
• Participates in Kaizen activities to improve processes.
• Maintains 5S standards including cleaning and tool placement.
• Performs minor maintenance on equipment as required.
• Participates in job changes and demonstrates AGC Way.
