Job summary

Tosoh Quartz is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to assist in the manufacture of quartz components using various tools and equipment. The role operates on a 4:00 am – 12:30 pm shift in Portland, OR 97229, with strict safety protocols and PPE requirements.

Applicants should be able to lift up to 60 lbs alone or 120 lbs with assistance. Responsibilities include cutting, inspecting, and maintaining equipment, as well as following process documents and safety guidelines to produce high-quality

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to accurately follow instructions.
• Aptitude for learning; blueprints and precision measurement.
• Willingness to wear PPE and follow safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Cut glass to specified lengths and perform bevels and feature work.
• Produce and inspect in-process parts for quality against specs.
• Follow process procedures, work orders, drawings and production documents.
• Perform detail work such as waxing, dewaxing, chamfering and cleaning.
• Maintain equipment and troubleshoot minor malfunctions.
• Keep a safe, organized and clean workspace and wear PPE as required.
