Job summary

A & Associates in New Jersey is seeking a Production Associate to manage production and quality of materials, ensure safe work environment, and adhere to customer requirements. You will operate multiple machines, inspect parts through the anodizing line, and verify pack accuracy with EPICS data entry.

The role requires at least 1 year in manufacturing, good English, and proficiency with MS Office and measurement tools.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 education.
• Minimum 1 year experience in manufacturing, using variety of machining, packing, and handling material.
• Must have good command of English, written and oral.
• Should be familiar with MS Office.
• Must be capable of using measuring instruments and able to read blueprints/drawings.
• Familiarity with extrusion defects would be an asset.

Responsibilities

• Safely and quality operate all machines within the department: presses, saws, punch press, drilling, tapping, deburring machines and any other equipment.
• Rack, un-rack, and inspect parts through the anodizing line.
• Check machine condition for issues prior to starting.
• Follow work orders and produce parts according to specifications.
• Pack orders according to pack dates indicated on the WIP Report and ensure correct tagging.
• Input data into EPICS during run and upon completion of production.
• Check samples periodically per quality standards and verify first piece sample with another person.
• Look for material defects before and during packing and ensure integrity of material on skids.
