Job summary

Ms Companies, LLC is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to maintain press stations and tooling in a high-volume production environment. The role emphasizes equipment readiness, process improvements, and quality through troubleshooting and preventative maintenance.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Basic electrical and pneumatic troubleshooting experience.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to monitor process performance.
• Ability to work safely with PPE requirements and follow safety procedures.
• Self-directed with minimal supervision and good written/oral English communication.
• Ability to work across multiple shifts and in a union environment.

Responsibilities

• Inspect mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic components and support maintenance scheduling.
• Inspect and maintain tooling sets between production runs to ensure readiness.
• Set up tooling according to engineering setpoints for upcoming runs.
• Collaborate with Engineering to improve tooling setups and maximize uptime and quality.
• Perform basic electrical and pneumatic work and intermediate mechanical repairs.
• Monitor production processes to improve yield and reduce waste.
• Train operators on processes and quality expectations.
• Maintain digital records of tooling conditions, measurements, and adjustments.
• Participate in root cause analysis of equipment failures across press stations and related systems.
