Job summary

Starbucks Coffee Company is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to operate and maintain downstream packaging lines in our facilities. The role involves ensuring quality through lot coding, performing changeovers, and supporting machine operators to minimize downtime.

You will monitor palletizing output, conduct basic quality checks, and adhere to safety and sanitation standards while working with a diverse team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma/GED or 4 years of US military service.
• Basic math skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and internet environments.
• Mechanical aptitude to perform minor machine adjustments and clear jams.
• Ability to follow verbal directions.
• Ability to work with a diverse team environment.
• Ability to work in accordance with safety, quality and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain downstream secondary equipment.
• Replenish raw materials on automated packaging equipment.
• Respond to stoppages on secondary packaging equipment and troubleshoot.
• Perform changeovers on secondary packaging equipment and assist with primary packaging.
• Conduct quality checks on secondary packages including lot coding and aesthetics.
• Track output and respond to jams at palletizing equipment.
• Maintain safety protocols and follow PPE and Lock Out Tag Out procedures.
