Job summary

Georgia-Pacific LLC is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to join the Green Bay Broadway facility's Logistics Department. The role supports smooth and efficient logistics processes, requiring attention to detail and strong teamwork in an industrial setting.

The position features a rotating 12-hour shift with days, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime. Starting pay is $26.00+ per hour, plus a $3.00/hour shift premium, dependent on experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing, industrial, agricultural, or military environment OR completion of post-high school education in a manufacturing/industrial centered program

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment to defined standards and product specification targets
• Monitor and/or entry into computer control systems
• Troubleshoot equipment to optimize production
• Perform basic asset care duties including entering routine preventative maintenance and cleaning of work area
• Work as a team to help meet or exceed production, waste, quality, and safety goals
• Operate and/or work around mobile equipment
• Maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, including wearing safety equipment
• Perform tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing, and/or pulling for up to twelve (12) hours a day, in a loud/noisy, industrial, high-volume environment

Your Job

We are seeking a motivated individual to join our Logistics Department at our Georgia-Pacific facility in Green Bay, WI, Broadway. As a Manufacturing Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our logistics processes. The ideal candidate for this position will be detail-oriented and excel in a team-oriented environment.

A Manufacturing Technician will work a rotating 12-hour shift that includes days, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime hours.

The starting rate of pay is $26.00+ an hour, dependent on experience, and will include a $3.00/hour shift premium.

Our Team

The Green Bay Broadway Mill manufactures and distributes leading commercial and retail brands of paper products (bath tissue, napkins, and towels). Every day, GP employees and products help maintain a strong, stable economy in Northeastern Wisconsin.

What You Will Do

• Operate equipment to defined standards and product specification targets

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Experience in a manufacturing, industrial, agricultural, or military environment OR completion of post-high school education in a manufacturing/industrial centered program

What Will Put You Ahead

• Experience in Palletizing/Conveying systems
• Experience using a computer, tablet, or smart device
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing manufacturing equipment
• Experience working in a paper manufacturing environment
• Experience working a rotating shift
