Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems (NGAS) is looking for you to join our team as a Manufacturing Technician Level 1 or 2 based out of Beavercreek, OH.

What You’ll get to Do: As a Manufacturing Technician you will work on the next generation composite structures. This job involves the fabrication of composite hardware using a variety of methods such as hand layup, bonding, assembly, trimming and final finishing. It will require development of skills to competently perform tasks designed to produce products that meet our customer expectations.

This position will support our C shift (Fri - Sun, 3/12 schedule) production.

This role can be filled at a Manufacturing Technician 1 or Principal Manufacturing Technician 2 depending on the qualifications below.

Basic Qualifications for Level 1:

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications

  • Ability to work flexible/changing schedules and weekends

  • Ability to perform moderate strenuous physical and repetitious work to include: bending, stooping, kneeling, carrying tools, lifting up to 35 pounds and working overhead

  • Ability to obtain and maintain an Active DoD Secret Clearance

  • Available to work any shift

Basic Qualifications for Level 2:

  • High School Diploma or GED and minimum of 2 year's experience in an aerospace, military, manufacturing and/or maintenance environment.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications

  • Ability to work flexible/changing schedules and weekends

  • Ability to perform moderate strenuous physical and repetitious work to include: bending, stooping, kneeling, carrying tools, lifting up to 35 pounds and working overhead

  • Ability to obtain and maintain an Active DoD Secret Clearance

  • Available to work any shift

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Composite experience and/or certification

  • Previous composite, manufacturing, or production experience

  • Demonstrated ability using standard measuring equipment and power hand tools

  • Ability to read and understand blueprints, technical specifications and operating procedures

Salary Range: $18 - $30

Salary Range 2: $21 - $35
