Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Manufacturing Technician – Level 3 for Promontory, UT. This 100% onsite role supports the Space Sector, performing setup, operation, and maintenance of automated equipment.

The candidate must obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance and endure physically demanding tasks. The position emphasizes adherence to procedures, ability to interpret fault codes, and readiness to work overtime and weekends.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent and 4 years additional education and/or related experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance.
• Physically able to stand, lift up to 50 lbs., and perform demanding tasks.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and follow established planning or procedures.
• Set up and operate automated equipment (PLC or manual).
• Understand machine fault codes and related mechanical/electrical relationships.
• Perform operator-controlled repairs as required.
• Work with adhesives and adjoining systems.
• Pass job-specific or specialized certification programs as required.
• Willing to work weekends/holidays and overtime as required.
• Other duties as assigned.
