Job summary

AeroVironment, Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to test and assemble Counter UAS systems in our Albuquerque facility. You will follow engineering drawings and assembly instructions to build mechanical and electrical components, using hand tools and precision equipment.

You will progressively test sub-assemblies, perform soldering and wiring, and assist with light machining as needed. A strong focus on safety, documentation, and teamwork is essential in a fast-paced production

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• 1–2 years in manufacturing or R&D lab environment preferred.
• Experience with hand tools and reading blueprints/schematics is required.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and communicate effectively with team.

Responsibilities

• Construct mechanical and electrical assemblies using hand and precision tools.
• Perform final assembly with heavy equipment like cranes and forklifts.
• Test and troubleshoot sub-assemblies and final assemblies.
• Fabricate electrical wiring and perform soldering of components.
