Responsibilities

  • Scope: perform basic functions for custom fire and rescue vehicles using power and hand tools.
  • Plumbing: prep and install plumbing components on fire apparatus.
  • Electrical: install and assemble basic electrical components.
  • Rigging: assemble and install basic accessories and hardware.
  • Mechanical: assemble and install basic mechanical and hydraulic components on vehicles or aerial devices.
  • Follow safety, quality, and lean initiatives; operate tools and review manuals, prints, and BOMs.
