The Manufacturing Technician II is a direct labor position reporting to a Process Execution Team (PET) Manager on the Manufacturing floor, supporting Filling operations. This role involves working in various Controlled/Non-Classified and Classified areas. Responsibilities include operating equipment, in-process monitoring, line clearances, OEE data collection, cosmetic inspection, cleaning, and batch record entries in accordance with cGMPs.

Job Responsibilities

1. Operate assigned machinery, service filling machines with materials, remove finished materials, and ensure smooth product flow.
2. Assemble, disassemble, operate, and sanitize various filling equipment.
3. Perform filter integrity testing as needed per SOP.
4. Maintain a cGMP environment through cleaning and housekeeping activities.
5. Start up and make minor adjustments to machinery.
6. Input data via SCADA and HMI systems as required.
7. Conduct visual and physical checks of materials.
8. Work with printing devices, including printing mats.
9. Complete batch records and GMP documentation, including mathematical calculations.
10. Understand product security and material handling controls.
11. Ensure outgoing quality standards are met.
12. Understand aseptic behaviors, media fills, line interventions, and monitoring equipment.
13. Perform inventory control and reconciliation, possibly using SAP.
14. Follow SOPs, cGMPs, safety procedures, and OSHA guidelines, including chemical safety and spill controls.
15. Assist with preventive maintenance and support lean activities like 5S and SMED.
16. Support validation/engineering protocols and suggest process improvements.
17. Train and support other filling functions as needed.
18. Perform additional duties under supervision as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

1. Effective communication skills in English (reading, writing, following instructions).
2. Attention to detail, record-keeping, and mathematical skills.
3. Maintain required certifications and qualifications.
4. Willingness to learn new skills and develop capabilities.
5. Ability to work effectively in a team and adapt to changing environments.
6. Overtime may be required with minimal notice.

Preferred Requirements

1. 1+ year of experience in pharmaceutical or cGMP environments.
2. Production experience and knowledge of LEAN manufacturing.
3. Familiarity with cGMPs and FDA policies.
