Job summary

The Fountain Group is seeking a Manufacturing Technician for a 6-month contract in North Chicago, IL. The role is onsite with a pay rate of $32.00–$34.00 per hour.

You will maintain fibroblast cell cultures in a cleanroom, perform solution prep, sampling, and cell expansion while adhering to cGMP standards. Responsibilities include documenting GMP/GDP records, maintaining equipment and environments, and supporting overall manufacturing operations.

Qualifications

• Aseptic technique and cell culture experience required.
• Bioreactors experience required.
• GMP or cleanroom experience preferred.
• Basic microbiology knowledge required.
• Biopharma manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain human fibroblast cell cultures in a cleanroom per schedules and cGMP standards.
• Assist with solution preparation and by-product sampling.
• Support cell expansion, roller bottle assembly, and autoclavable material cleaning.
• Complete cGMP/GDP documentation and maintain cell culture equipment.
• Support overall manufacturing operations and safety procedures.

We are a national staffing firm and are currently seeking a Manufacturing Technician for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in North Chicago, IL, 60064. Details of the position are as follows:

Job Description:

• Pay: $32.00- 34.00/hr to start.
• 6- month contract with the possibility of extension or conversion based on budget and performance,
• Shift: Sunday- Wednesday, 7:00am- 5:30pm, onsite position.
• Position will mainly be responsible for maintaining human fibroblast cell cultures in a cleanroom environment according to manufacturing schedules, established procedures, and cGMP standards.
• Responsibilities also include assisting with solution preparation, by-product sampling, cell expansion, roller bottle assembly, autoclavable material cleaning, and production area housekeeping.
• Position will also be responsible for completing cGMP/GDP documentation, maintaining cell culture equipment and environments, following safety procedures, and supporting overall manufacturing operations.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma, GED, Associate, or Bachelor degree is required.
• Experience with aseptic technique, cell culture, and bioreactors is required.
• Experience in a GMP or cleanroom setting is preferred.
• Basic microbiology experience is required.
• Biopharma manufacturing experience is preferred.
