Qualifications

  • 3+ years of relevant experience with multiple tool certifications.
  • Experience with process monitoring, data collection, and troubleshooting.
  • High school diploma or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

  • Setup, operate, monitor, and adjust manufacturing equipment to meet specs.
  • Support process improvement to optimize efficiency and quality.
  • Assist engineers with experiments and tool calibrations.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Guide new technicians as needed.

TheManufacturing Technician II is responsible for supporting daily operations, including running daily equipment and process checks, and escalating issues as appropriate. This role requires technical experience, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced cleanroom environment.

Location: Photronics, Boise, ID (US). This is an on-site position, and we are not open to remote candidates at this time.

Responsibilities
  • Setup, operate, monitor, and adjust manufacturing equipment according to production specifications and standard operating procedures to optimize yield and efficiency.
  • Support in the development and continuous process improvement initiatives to optimize efficiency and quality.
  • Assist engineers with experiments, process qualifications, and tool calibrations.
  • Monitor equipment/process and expand issues as appropriate to minimmize downtime and ensure processing in accordance with specifications.
  • Comply with company quality standards, industry regulations, and environmental health and safety policies.
  • Follow cleanroom protocols and safety procedures to maintain a contamination-free environment.
  • Guide new technicians or operators as needed.
  • Certified to run a minimum of two tools and/or work centers independently.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional areas as needed.
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Semiconductor manufacturing flow and cleanroom operations, a plus.
  • Attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to identify issues and properly escalated.
  • Able to be flexible, work independently, or in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents.
  • Identify continuous process and system improvement opportunities.
  • Proficient in using computers and manufacturing software systems preferred.
Experience
  • 3-years of relevant experience, with certification on multiple tools.
  • Experience with strict safety and quality standards.
  • Experience with process monitoring, data collection, and basic troubleshooting
Education
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
