Avecia Pharma is seeking a Manufacturing Technician I for the AM Swing Shift in Milford, MA. The role is a swing shift position with a 5% shift differential and temporary full time status.

You will support production operations, assure GMP compliance, and participate in training to learn the oligonucleotide manufacturing process. The entry-level opportunity emphasizes safety culture, precise documentation, and adherence to cGMP standards while contributing to a structured production schedule.

Qualifications

• Minimum education requirements: high school diploma or equivalent, with college level chemistry degree or equivalent work experience.
• A biotechnology certificate or college degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Follow GMP and safety cultures, procedures, and regulations.
• Identify and submit safety hazards and incidents.
• Complete GMP documentation in a compliant manner. May require coaching on GMP documentation execution.
• Responsible for assigned production activity and ensuring training is compliant prior to performing operations.
• Responsible for learning the oligonucleotide manufacturing process as well as GMP regulations. May require supervision and guidance.
• Responsible for performing all work within company and cGMP regulatory compliance.
• Maintaining a safe work environment and following all site safety procedures.
• Performs routine, generally highly structured work.
• Responsible for staying current with the prescribed training curriculum specified for the job title.
