Job Description

About the role:

As the Manufacturing Tech I, you will focus on converting raw materials and components into finished goods through various production processes. You will implement all processes in production while strictly following cGMP, environmental health and safety guidelines, and any other related regulations. You will participate in departmental projects and quality teams, initiate new documents for procedures, troubleshoot simple procedures, demonstrate procedures in training, and coordinate department activities. You will report to the Supervisor, Manufacturing.

The hours are 6PM-6:30AM, on a 2-2-3 rotational schedule; weekend and holiday work, with possible overtime.

How You Will Contribute
  • Perform general production manufacturing work
  • Assemble finished components into products
  • Process manufacturing batches of bulk materials/ingredients
  • Set up and operate machinery
  • Conduct surface finishing
  • Package materials or finished goods
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production goals
What You Bring To Takeda
  • High school diploma or GED + 1+ years of experience or associate degree or higher
  • Knowledge of cGMP manufacturing
  • Knowledge of lab and pharmaceutical equipment
  • Proficiency in mathematics and measurement standards
  • Knowledge of safety procedures
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Immunization may be required
Important Considerations

In this role, you will:

  • Wear PPE and clean room garments
  • Work in cold, wet, or storage environments
  • Work multiple shifts, including weekends and overtime
  • Handle chemicals requiring respiratory protection
  • Perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and climbing

Compensation and Benefits

Hourly wage range: $16.97 - $26.65. Benefits include incentives, insurance, 401(k), paid time off, and more, depending on eligibility and location.
