Job Responsibilities

1. Maintain and develop machine programs, part definition (PD) files, and machine set-ups.
2. Optimize machine programs and set-ups to meet or exceed theoretical product run-rate.
3. Observe machine and line performance and determine the necessary steps needed to achieve optimum line efficiency and product quality.
4. Monitor CIQ, TARS, ICT Diagnostic defect analysis sheet, feeder data, and other sources of information for tracking and gauging machine and process performance.
5. Maintain and repair all SMT equipment on assigned line(s).
6. Determine when necessary machine repairs are needed and perform out-of-cycle maintenance.
7. Perform preventative maintenance of SMT equipment on assigned line(s).
8. Perform initial diagnosis of non-SMT equipment and execute repairs within skill level, escalating complex issues appropriately.
9. Assist Machine Operators with training and operational support to improve line efficiency.
10. Coordinate with Line Supervisors, Manufacturing Engineers, and the Machine Support Manager to ensure optimal line performance.
11. Provide training to Manufacturing Engineering Tech I employees.
12. Assist in achieving optimal process performance by measuring and optimizing reflow profiles, wave solder profiles, and screen printing of solder paste.
13. Recommend design modifications for tooling and product design to improve manufacturability (DFM).
14. Provide daily shift pass-down reports to relevant engineering staff.
15. Adhere to all safety, health, and security procedures.
