Job Description

The Manufacturing Technician should be a quick learner and self-motivated, capable of working independently. Ability to work under pressure and in varying conditions is essential. Availability to support the factory on weekends when needed (usually the last weekend of each month) is required.

1. Analyze a variety of rejected electronic assemblies using test equipment, simulators, and troubleshooting skills to determine root causes of failures.
2. Troubleshoot and diagnose complex product problems, define possible solutions, and clearly identify root causes.
3. Discuss failure analysis results and corrective actions with supervisors, engineers, and Test System engineers.
4. Identify vendor vs. process defects, write failure analysis reports, and record failure data, providing clear explanations and proof of diagnosis.

Additional Qualified Skills

• Operate/setup electronic equipment (signal generator, analyzers, spectrum analyzer, power meter, oscilloscopes, etc.).
• RF knowledge.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics for troubleshooting down to component level is a plus.
• Extensive knowledge of 2-way subscriber products is a plus.
• Electronic and mechanical troubleshooting skills are required.
• Automation knowledge is a plus.

Salary Range

$44,800.00 - $74,700.00
