Position Overview

As part of the talented Manufacturing Technician Gearcase team at Mercury Racing, you will perform a variety of manufacturing assembly related processes to meet the production schedule for current sub assembly and service gearcase builds.

Essential Functions
  • Perform assembly activities as required via trained procedures and/or work instructions
  • Disassemble a mechanical system & reassemble it correctly
  • Gear set assembly and/or differential experience
  • Experience using various basic hand tools & measuring devices
  • Perform repetitive processes to meet production needs
  • Perform final testing of component assemblies, such as torqometer tests
  • Perform all activities in a safe and quality-conscious manner
  • Attend company-provided meetings and training as required
  • Maintain a clean and safe working area according to Procedures and Plant Safety Rules
Qualifications

Required:

  • Strong work ethic, positive attitude, adaptable/flexible
  • Sense of urgency, dependable & responsible, high integrity
  • Self-motivated, basic mechanical skills, problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently without supervision
  • Quality mindset and effective communication skills
  • High School diploma

Preferred:

  • 2-year technical school training
  • 1-5 years of related experience
  • Knowledge of LSS, ISO, & Safety methodologies
Working Conditions
  • 1st shift, hours 5:30am-2:00pm
  • Must lift up to 30 lbs
  • Occasional sitting, squatting, stooping, crouching; frequent standing and walking
  • Use of personal protective equipment as required
Compensation & Benefits

The pay range is $41,500-$62,300 annually, depending on experience and location. The role includes eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, paid vacation, 401k with match, HSA, and more.
