Job summary

ASML in Wilton, CT seeks an experienced assembler to accurately assemble, integrate and qualify complex technical products in a cleanroom environment, following strict specifications and procedures.

You will collaborate with technicians and engineers, work with SAP and LabVIEW, apply Lean principles, maintain clean and organized workstations, and participate in continuous improvement while meeting tight timelines.

Qualifications

  • High School Degree or equivalent required.
  • Hands-on electromechanical assembly work experience preferred.
  • Precision measurement tools and hand–eye coordination required.
  • Attention to detail essential for accuracy.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles.
  • Strong computer skills: MS Office, SAP, LabVIEW.
  • Ability to read and interpret data, information and documents.
  • Work according to a strict set of procedures within timelines.

  • Acquire knowledge of new and established products and processes.
  • Execute plan and monitor the practical situation as directed by area leader.
  • Support colleagues in training and contribute ideas for continuous improvement.
  • Accurately administer Production Operation Dashboard and other ERP systems.
  • Participate in Lean and Continuous Improvement culture; maintain clean, organized workcenter.
  • Adhere to all ASML Environmental, Health & Safety policies and protocols.

Job description

OBJECTIVE:

Accurately assemble, integrate and qualify complex ASML technical products in accordance with established specification requirements in a clean room environment.

WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:

REPORTS TO: Senior Team Leader II, Manufacturing Assembly Operations

COLLABORATES WITH: Technician peers, production engineers and internal and cross-functional teams within Manufacturing, Logistics, Sourcing and Supply Chain, Design & Engineering, and Customer Support

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Assemble, integrate and qualify technical products in accordance with established specification requirements.
  • Manufacture and deliver high level, complex systems according to the established procedures. Solve less complex technical problems that may occur. Accurately track work completed and communicate to peers across shifts.
  • Acquire sufficient knowledge of new and established products and processes.
  • Execute plan and activities as assigned by area leader and monitor the practical situation.
  • Support colleagues in training processes; search for solutions and ideas arising from input and the implementation of departmental goals.
  • Accurately administrate Production Operation Dashboard and other ERP systems.
  • Participate in Lean and Continuous Improvement culture
  • Maintain efficient, clean, and organized workcenter
  • Adhere to all ASML Corporate & Wilton Environmental, Health & Safety policies, procedures, and protocols.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Must be able to work in a Cleanroom environment (constant 72℉; working under ISO 9001/14001 standards)

Must be able to work in full PPE (full body coveralls, hood, clean room safety shoes, face mask, nitrile gloves, safety glasses) for entire duration of shift and re‑gown multiple times per day

Routinely required to sit, walk, talk, hear, use hands to keyboard, use fingers to handle and feel, stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, reach and stretch

Must be able to perform solo lifts and/or move up to 20 pounds

Specific vision abilities required – close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus

Must be able to work with/on ladders, work on platforms, work around chemicals, operate overhead cranes, fork trucks and motorized pallet jacks.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

High School Degree or equivalent

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

There is potential for exposure to strong magnetic fields, high voltage and currents.

COMPENSATION:

The current base annual hourly range for this role is currently:

Pay scales are determined by role, level, location and alignment with market data. Individual pay is determined through interviews and an assessment of several factors that that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job‑related skills, relevant education and experience, certifications, abilities of the candidate and pay relative to other team members.

The Company offers employees and their families, medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are able to participate in the Company's 401k plan. Employees will also receive eight (8) hours of vacation leave every month and (13) paid holidays throughout the calendar year.
