Introduction

Job Overview

The DUV Technician will be responsible for the assembly and manufacturing of ASML products in accordance with the established specification statements in a clean room environment. Make improvements to existing products and processes and guide the implementation of new products and processes. Ensure the compliance of quality guarantees and standardization and contribute to improvements in effectivity and efficiency.

CWW N2: Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and every other Wednesday. 6:00pm-6:00am

Role and Responsibilities
  • Quality: produce products in accordance with established specifications. Observe and report on regular and/or on‑going problems that occur in the construction of products or their operation. Give support to the solution of these problems. Contribute to the improvement of products and processes. Work in accordance with Technical Product Documentation (TPD) and ensure the TPD is complete. Discuss any changes with the Production Technician, Production Engineer.
  • Production: manufacture and deliver high level, complex systems according to the established procedures. Solve any technical problems that occur. Set an example to other members of the team. Oversee the total process from assembly through to test and act as a reference source for problem solving in the area of expertise.
  • Skills: acquire sufficient knowledge of new and established products and processes, modifications, sub‑modules and complete systems. Have an in‑depth knowledge of the correlation between the module and the whole system and the relationship with other (sub) systems. Pass on relevant expertise.
  • Teamwork: support good teamwork by the search for solutions and ideas arising from input and the implementation of departmental tasks.
  • Planning: coordinate the activities given in the production plan and monitor the practical situation. Closely control the use of tools, materials and equipment.
Education and Experience
  • Minimum of a High School diploma or GED required, or equivalent education experience.
  • 2+ years of Technical/ Mechanical manufacturing/assembly experience.
  • Very detail oriented.
  • Experience working assembling small parts preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills – capable of translating requirements into an executable schedule.
  • Self‑motivated with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and manage changing priorities.
  • Service oriented, good communicator and team player.
  • Strives for and facilitates continuous improvements.
  • Strong Computer Skills – SAP, Office and SPC Programs a plus.

Other Information
  • Must be willing to work in a clean room environment, wearing coveralls, hoods, booties, safety glasses and gloves for the entire duration of shift.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee routinely is required to sit; walk; talk; hear; use hands to keyboard, finger, handle, and feel; stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, reach, and stretch.
  • The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
  • Can work under deadlines.
  • The environment generally is moderate in temperature with moderate to high noise level.
  • Must be willing to work 3rd shift hours and be flexible to convert to a compressed work week schedule – twelve‑hour long shift and rotating from three to four days a week. This must include references to day and night shifts for accommodation purposes.
Additional Responsibilities for Wilton Factory
  • The employee is required to work in a cleanroom environment: full gowning (full body coveralls, hood, CR safety shoes, face mask, nitrile gloves and safety glasses. Working under ISO 9000/14000 standards).
  • Operating/working around overhead cranes, fork trucks and motorized pallet movers.
  • Working around lasers; working with ladders; working on platforms; and working around chemicals.
  • The employee is occasionally required to move around the campus.
  • The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
  • May require travel dependent on company needs.
  • The environment generally is moderate in temperature and noise level.
Additional Responsibilities

There is potential for exposure to strong magnetic fields, high voltage and currents. This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
