Job summary

10x Genomics is seeking a temporary manufacturing specialist in Pleasanton, CA to handle kitting of consumables and assist the manufacturing engineering team with equipment maintenance and basic troubleshooting. The role requires adherence to ERP workflows and accurate documentation of batch records in a fast-paced environment.

The position involves operating packaging and lab-to-cleanroom equipment, data entry in ERP, and collaborating with a team to improve process quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school or higher; Associate degree or above is acceptable.
• Strong team player and detail oriented.
• Good communication skills.
• Experience in production with ERP (Oracle or SAP) and inventory/work orders.
• Ability to read SOPs and equipment manuals.
• Ability to enter data into electronic tracking systems like Excel.
• Multitask and prioritize to meet deadlines under supervision.
• Willingness to lift up to 30 lb and perform repetitive tasks; occasional overtime.

Responsibilities

• Execute production operations per defined procedures and ensure product quality.
• Operate and maintain lab to clean room standards for Life Science production.
• Process work orders using ERP in a timely manner.
• Maintain production batch records and documentation.
• Assist in bonding and coating 10x chips using automated or semi-automated equipment.
• Assemble chips into final packaging using semi-automated equipment.
• Package consumables into finished goods using packaging equipment.
• Set up and operate scientific and packaging equipment; troubleshoot as needed.
• Perform preventive maintenance on lab equipment.
• Provide feedback to improve process quality and efficiency.
