Job summary

Sheridan Ohio is hiring a Manufacturing Technician-Bindery for a day shift on a full-time basis. You will train and lead a crew, set up and maintain the Perfect Binder, and ensure quality and on-time production of books and printed materials.

What You’ll Do

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for people who:

• Have good mechanical and organizational skills.
• Are mechanically inclined and comfortable using basic tools
• Can read basic job instructions and measurements (decimals, sizes, etc.)
• Have good mathematical skills
• Must be a team player and possess the ability to lead and direct crew
• Must be physically able to load bundles from 30 to 100lbs
• Excellent attendance, punctuality and dependency is a prerequisite
• Show up reliably and work well with a team

It’s a plus if you have:

• 3-5 years machine operating experience
• Print, bindery, or finishing experience
• Basic small packaging knowledge
• Experience setting up or adjusting production equipment

Physical & Work Environment

• On your feet for most of the shift
• Fast-paced, team-oriented production floor
• Lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally
