Job summary

Sheridan Ohio is seeking a Manufacturing Technician-Bindery to join our day shift from 7a to 7p. This full-time role trains you to run high-speed bindery equipment and produce books, catalogs, and printed materials with a hands-on, quality-focused approach.

You will set up, operate and maintain the Perfect Binder, supervise crew performance, train new operators, and ensure safety and accuracy. A reliable team player who can lift up to 50 lbs and follow procedures will thrive in our fast-paced

Qualifications

• Must have good mechanical and organizational skills.
• Mechanically inclined and comfortable using basic tools.
• Able to read basic job instructions and measurements (decimals, sizes).
• Strong mathematical skills.
• Must be a team player with ability to lead and direct crew.
• Physically capable of loading bundles from 30 to 100 lbs.
• Excellent attendance, punctuality and reliability.
• Reliable and team-focused.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

What We’re Looking For

It’s a plus if you have:

• 3-5 years machine operating experience
• Print, bindery, or finishing experience
• Basic small packaging knowledge
• Experience setting up or adjusting production equipment

Physical & Work Environment

• On your feet for most of the shift
• Fast-paced, team-oriented production floor
• Lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally
