Manufacturing Technician Bench 1st Shift (P)

Job Overview

Perform operations on castings for surface preparation, including blasting, belting, grinding, and benching, according to production specifications to produce high-quality parts at our Gibsonton, Florida location.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate benching procedures on castings using tools like die grinders, buffing wheels, blast cabinets, and auxiliary equipment.
• Prepare castings for visual inspection.
• Use Mercury to verify serial numbers, adjust machines, troubleshoot, and maintain part quality.
• Conduct improvement analysis and perform basic maintenance with technicians or external providers.
• Cross-training and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• One or more years of experience with hand tools; background in plastics, ceramics, extrusion, or injection/blow molding is a plus.
• Experience with inspection equipment (calipers, pin gauges, etc.) is a plus.
• Ability to perform math functions using the metric system and read engineering instructions.
• Legal authorization to work in the US without sponsorship.
• Willingness to work with export-controlled technology in compliance with US export law; an export license may be required.
