Job summary

Briggs & Stratton, LLC in Missouri seeks a hands-on Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot and repair plant production equipment and set up a variety of production assets to ensure product quality.

You will perform preventive maintenance, maintain electrical, mechanical, hydraulic systems, and collaborate with teams to adjust processes; strong English, teamwork, and computer skills required; forklift experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1.5 years of technical experience using mechanical, electrical and hydraulic skills.
• Must be able to operate a forklift.
• Fluent in English in the work area.

Job Responsibilities

1. Maintains structures, electrical systems, heating systems, plumbing, machine repair, hydraulics systems for a variety of equipment


2. Performs various machining or bench operations to alter and repair tools, dies, fixtures, jigs, gauges and guarding


3. Troubleshoots and repairs equipment; performs preventative maintenance


4. Responsible for statistical process charting, interpretation, and trend-analysis in order to perform process or equipment adjustments to bring parts into specification


5. Performs other duties as assigned
