Job summary

Briggs & Stratton, LLC., headquartered in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, seeks a maintenance technician to troubleshoot and repair plant production equipment and set up various production lines to ensure quality output.

You will monitor safety, quality and production requirements, perform basic equipment repairs under general supervision, coordinate line changeovers, and execute preventive maintenance as part of a collaborative team on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical experience preferred.
• Fluent in English and comfortable in a bilingual environment if applicable.

Ability to stand and/or walk constantly over a full work shift (8-12 hours)

Ability to perform occasional to frequent pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling, twisting, crawling and/or reaching over a full work shift (8-12 hours)

Ability to use power/vibrating tools over a full work shift (8-12 hours)

Ability to operate motorized vehicles over a full work shift (8-12 hours)

Exposure to noise levels for which hearing protection is required to be worn over a full work shift (8-12 hours)
