Job summary

Minitube International is seeking a Manufacturing Technician for the 2nd shift to operate and troubleshoot blow molding equipment. You will set up machines, monitor production, and maintain quality control while documenting downtime and maintenance activities.

The role requires mechanical aptitude, ability to read technical docs, and collaboration with maintenance and production teams to resolve issues. Work hours are 1:00pm-9:30pm, Monday-Friday.

Manufacturing Technician (2nd shift)
Your Mission

We are seeking a Plastic Blow Molding Machine Operator to set up, operate, and troubleshoot blow molding equipment. This role is ideal for someone mechanically inclined who can quickly identify issues, perform minor repairs, and keep production running efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up, operate, and monitor blow molding machines to ensure efficient production.
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and make adjustments to minimize downtime.
  • Perform minor repairs and routine maintenance on machinery.
  • Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Document production data, downtime, and maintenance activities.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to resolve ongoing issues.
Work Shift

2nd shift: Monday-Friday, 1:00pm-9:30pm

Your Profile
Qualifications
  • Previous experience operating blow molding or similar manufacturing equipment preferred.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to perform minor mechanical repairs.
  • Basic understanding of production processes and quality standards.
  • Ability to read and follow work instructions and technical documents.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with extrusion blow molding or injection blow molding.
  • Familiarity with PLC-controlled equipment.
  • Prior experience in plastics manufacturing.
