Job summary

Comar is seeking a dedicated technician for the night shift to set up and adjust injection molding, blow molding, and automated assembly equipment. You will troubleshoot issues to maintain production, perform basic maintenance, and monitor product quality with real-time adjustments.

The role emphasizes collaboration with Engineering and Maintenance to improve performance in a high-tech manufacturing environment. Candidates with plastics or automation experience will fit well.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing, plastics, or automated equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude for setup, troubleshooting and adjustments.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.
• Experience with injection molding, extrusion, or automation is a plus.

Job description

Hours: Night Shift (11pm-7:30am, 7pm-7am)

Hourly Rate: $25 - 30 an hour

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

Set up, start up, and adjust injection molding, blow molding, and automated assembly equipment

Troubleshoot process and equipment issues to keep production running

Perform basic maintenance and support preventative maintenance tasks

Monitor product quality and make real-time process adjustments

Partner with Engineering & Maintenance to improve performance

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

Experience in manufacturing, plastics, or automated equipment

Strong mechanical aptitude (set-up, troubleshooting, adjustments)

Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment

Experience with injection molding, extrusion, or automation is a big plus

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Stand for most of the work shift.
• Use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, crouch, bend, twist, and only occasionally sit.
• Lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. Heavier amounts can be moved with assistance of equipment.
