As a Manufacturing Technician 2 (Cables), your role at Chandler, AZ will be pivotal in supporting missions critical to national and global security. Ready to join forces with our visionary team?
Role and Impact: In the Role You Will:
- Use work instructions, engineering drawings, and technical manuals, assembles cables/harnesses used in the Aerospace industry.
- Cut wire, crimp contacts, pin connectors, apply shielding, and torque connector hardware.
- Documents actions by completing production and quality forms.
- Apply your good understanding of engineering drawings, instructions, parts lists, and schematics.
Due to the sensitive nature of our work this is a fully on-site position; hybrid or remote work is not available. Relocation is not available for this role.
Your Expertise - Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent and 2+ years of additional education and/or related experience
- Proficiency in the use of hand tools, often requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
- Experience following engineering drawings, instructions, parts lists and schematics
- Ability to cut wire, crimp contacts, pin connectors, apply shielding, and torque connector hardware.
- U.S. Citizenship

We work a 9/80 schedule (9 hours per day Mon-Thurs, 8 hours every other Friday with the alternate Friday off)

Salary Range: $43,100.00 - $71,900.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
