Job summary

Timberlab in Oregon is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to operate and maintain machinery used in the production of mass timber products. The role requires a strong understanding of manufacturing processes, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality.

You will monitor production, troubleshoot equipment, assist with setup and calibration, and work with the team to optimize efficiency while following safety protocols and maintaining a clean, organized workspace.

Qualifications

• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot and repair machinery.
• Basic computer skills for recording production data and operating machinery interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery and equipment used in the manufacturing process of mass timber products.

• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of machinery to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.

• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including sweeping, dusting, and disposing of waste materials.
• Keep accurate records of production activities, including materials used, production output, and equipment maintenance.
