OP Specialty Bracing is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to join our pediatric orthotics team. The role involves following detailed work orders to create custom ankle/foot, scoliosis/spine, and plagiocephaly braces from measurements and scans in a first/second shift schedule.

You will handle basic tools, read measurements, and work with a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment focused on quality care for children.

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Willingness to follow instructions and work well in a team.
• Dependable transportation required.

Responsabilidades

• Work from measurements, casts and scans to manufacture custom braces.
• Use basic hand tools to fabricate devices for pediatric patients.
• Lift 30–50 lbs as needed.
• Read tape measurements accurately and follow written instructions.
• Learn and understand medical terminology related to human anatomy.
• Input information and open/send documents on a computer.
• Perform other duties as needed.

Summary:

The Manufacturing Technician requires followingspecific instructions and detailed work orders to manufacture a custom bracing product from measurements,castsand scans. We make bracing for ankle/feet, scoliosis/spine, and Plagiocephaly/helmeting for infants.

First Shift Monday- Friday 8:30am-5:00pm

Second Shift Monday - Friday 2:30pm-11:00pm

Responsibilities:

• Ability to work with hands, including good visual capabilities to assess symmetry.
• Use of basic hand tools: drill press, jig saw, hand saw, rotary grinders
• Capability forsome heavylifting of 30 to 50lbs.
• Aptitude for basic math skills, including reading tape measurements and following written instructions.
• Good readingskills and comprehension skills, as well as the necessity to learn medical termspertaining tohuman anatomy.
• Basic computer skills to open and send documents, as well as input information.
• Preform all other duties as needed.

• Must have willingness to follow instructions, and work well in a team environment
• Dependable transportation
