Job summary

OP Specialty Bracing is hiring a Manufacturing Technician to join the team. The role involves following detailed instructions and processing measurements, casts, and scans to produce custom pediatric orthotic braces.

First shift is Monday–Friday 8:30am–5:00pm, with responsibilities including operating basic tools and performing light to moderate lifting as required. You will work closely with a team, maintain accuracy, and learn medical terminology related to anatomy while supporting ongoing

Qualifications

• Follow written instructions and work orders to manufacture custom braces.
• Ability to read tape measurements and perform basic math.
• Learn medical terms related to anatomy and pediatric orthotics.
• Operate basic hand tools and basic equipment.
• Work well in a team and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture custom bracing products from measurements, casts, and scans.
• Operate drill press, jig saw, hand saw, and rotary grinders.
• Assist with heavy lifting (30–50 lbs) as needed.
• Maintain accuracy by reading drawings and inputting information.
• Perform other duties as needed.

OP Specialty Bracing is growing, and we believe our team is the key to our success.

We are hiring a Manufacturing Technician to join our team.

The Manufacturing Technician requires following specific instructions and detailed work orders to manufacture a custom bracing product from measurements, casts and scans. We make bracing for ankle/feet, scoliosis/spine, and Plagiocephaly/helmeting for infants.

First Shift Monday- Friday 8:30am-5:00pm

Responsibilities:

• Ability to work with hands, including good visual capabilities to assess symmetry.
• Use of basic hand tools: drill press, jig saw, hand saw, rotary grinders
• Capability for some heavylifting of 30 to 50lbs.
• Aptitude for basic math skills, including reading tape measurements and following written instructions.
• Good readingskills and comprehension skills, as well as the necessity to learn medical termspertaining tohuman anatomy.
• Basic computer skills to open and send documents, as well as input information.
• Preform all other duties as needed.

The pay range for this role is:

20 - 23 USD per hour (OP Specialty Bracing of Phoenix Fabrication)
