Job Title: Manufacturing Technician
Location: Redwood City, CA
Typical Accountabilities
- Conduct activities and interactions consistent with Company values and in compliance with the Code of Conduct and supporting Policies and Standards.
- Complete all required training on the AZ Code of Conduct and report potential issues of noncompliance.
- Ensure compliance with AZ Corporate Policies, site Standard Operating Procedures, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices (cGMPs, GAMP, ITIL, PMI).
- Maintain a safe work environment and perform work in accordance with site Environment, Health, and Safety (SHE) policies and procedures.
- Immediately report potential unsafe conditions to management.
Specific Responsibilities of Role Holder
- Wear appropriate task-based and general PPE.
- Ensure adherence to safety, health, and environmental standards and guidelines, including Good Manufacturing Practices.
- Support manufacturing team to achieve operational delivery against production and quality targets.
- Ensure raw materials and products meet the specified standards and production schedule.
- Perform preventative maintenance on small equipment (heat sealers, mixers, conductivity meters, etc.).
- Provide routine support to the department and other support services to improve line performance and support continuous improvement projects.
- Assist in setting up and running line equipment according to specified settings/parameters.
- Support projects as needed, adhering to timelines to assist project managers.
- Participate in formal and informal training to meet business needs.
- Perform other related tasks as assigned by Lead or Manager.
Education, Qualifications, Skills, and Experience
- HS Diploma
- GMP experience (1-3 years)
Desirable
- Foundation level experience in a production environment.
- Experience with Good Manufacturing Practice.
- Work experience in a regulated industry.
