Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on assembly of electrical, mechanical, and electromechanical components and subassemblies.
• Perform cable preparation, gold removal, component preparation, and other manufacturing processes as needed.
• Follow manufacturing drawings, job travelers, work instructions, and established procedures.
• Perform basic soldering and other related assembly tasks as required.
• Inspect completed work and accurately complete job travelers and production documentation.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Support various manufacturing areas and production needs as assigned.

As a Manufacturing Technician, you’ll support a variety of production activities, including general assembly, cable preparation, gold removal, and other hands-on manufacturing processes. You’ll work with manufacturing drawings, job travelers, work instructions, hand tools, and production equipment to build quality products that support some of the most demanding applications in our industries.

What You’ll Do

What You’ll Bring

• High School Diploma or GED, with 1-3 years of related technical, manufacturing, assembly, or production experience and/or training preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with small components, tooling, and electrical contacts while following manufacturing drawings, job travelers, and work instructions.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and regularly use hands for detailed assembly work, with the ability to lift up to 10 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to work safely in a light manufacturing environment with moderate noise, mechanical equipment, and occasional exposure to particles, chemicals, and other workplace hazards.

Work Environment

This position is primarily performed in a manufacturing environment with exposure to mechanical equipment, moderate noise, and occasional airborne particles, chemicals, and other hazards typical of light manufacturing. Employees may also work in office areas with quiet to moderate noise levels. Appropriate safety practices and personal protective equipment are required as applicable.
