Insight Global is seeking experienced Manufacturing Technicians to support hands-on assembly, integration, and testing of autonomous underwater vehicles at Quonset, RI. This onsite role offers 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift options and a pay range of $25-$37 per hour.

You will read engineering drawings, assemble electromechanical systems, install harnesses, troubleshoot, and collaborate with engineers to resolve manufacturing issues.

Formación

• 3+ years of hands-on mechanical, assembly, maintenance, or manufacturing experience.
• Experience assembling, maintaining, or troubleshooting electromechanical equipment.
• Ability to read and follow engineering drawings, technical documentation, and work instructions.
• Experience using standard hand and power tools.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on build quality and safety.
• Ability to work onsite in Quonset, Rhode Island.
• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret security clearance.

• Maintain organized tools, components, and manufacturing work areas.
• Potentially support field and offshore testing activities as needed.

What You’ll Do

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands‑on mechanical, assembly, maintenance, or manufacturing experience
• Experience assembling, maintaining, or troubleshooting electromechanical equipment
• Ability to read and follow engineering drawings, technical documentation, and work instructions
• Experience using standard hand and power tools
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
• Detail‑oriented with a focus on build quality and safety
• Ability to work onsite in Quonset, Rhode Island
• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret security clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Marine, subsea, AUV/UUV, robotics, aerospace, defense, or automotive experience
• Wiring harness, cable routing, or electrical assembly experience
• Experience troubleshooting electrical systems with a digital multimeter
• Experience working around electrical components up to 400VDC
• Fabrication, manual machining, CNC machining, or 3D‑printing experience
• Rigging, material handling, or applicable hoisting credentials
