Job summary

Qnovia, Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Technician in Newport Beach, CA to support the assembly and testing of ultrasonic nebulization devices. Job description

Support the assembly, testing, and production of Qnovia's nebulization devices in a controlled manufacturing environment.

About the Role

Qnovia is scaling production of its ultrasonic nebulization devices from clinical-stage to commercial readiness. As a Manufacturing Technician, you will play a hands-on role in device assembly, in-process testing, and production line operations. You will work closely with engineering and quality teams to maintain process control and ensure consistent product quality.

Responsibilities

• Perform device assembly operations following documented work instructions and standard operating procedures
• Conduct in-process and final product inspections and testing
• Operate and maintain manufacturing equipment including ultrasonic welders, dispensing systems, and test fixtures
• Document production activities accurately in batch records and manufacturing logs
• Identify and report non-conformances and participate in root cause investigations
• Support equipment qualification (IQ/OQ/PQ) and process validation activities
• Maintain clean room protocols and controlled environment standards
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing practices

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in manufacturing technology or related field preferred
• 2+ years of experience in medical device or pharmaceutical manufacturing
• Ability to read and follow technical drawings, work instructions, and SOPs
• Experience working in cleanroom or controlled manufacturing environments
• Basic understanding of GMP requirements and quality management systems
• Manual dexterity and ability to perform repetitive precision assembly tasks
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with electromechanical device assembly
• IPC soldering certification or equivalent
• Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent)
• Experience with statistical process control (SPC) tools

$55,000 - $75,000 annually, depending on experience. Equity participation included.
