A leading company in California is seeking a Manufacturing Operations Technician to support production goals while ensuring compliance and efficiency. This position is NonExempt. Hours over 40 will be paid at Time and a Half.
The Manufacturing Operations Technician, in collaboration with operations, engineering, maintenance, facilities, logistics, and safety departments, provides support to manufacturing operations to ensure production staff is able to reliably attain manufacturing targets, and provides support to outside operations to support attainment of other site goals for safety, quality compliance, and culture building.
This position primarily provides 1st shift support. Planned hours are 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM, with opportunity for limited overtime, and altered hours when required by the business. Onboarding hours for the initial month will be roughly 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM. This position is fully onsite.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provides support to manufacturing line by ensuring materials and equipment are available and ready at shift startup to minimize downtime.
• Supports implementation and monitoring of training systems and schedules.
• Supports site initiatives for efficiency improvements and quality compliance.
• Perform root cause analysis on manufacturing and operations failures, and supports implementation of corrective actions proposed from those failures.
• Gathers information on current production equipment, tooling and systems to determine proper spare stock. Coordinates purchasing and storage of necessary spare parts, tools and fixtures to ensure production equipment and systems operates uninterruptible and in optimum conditions.
• Ensure compliance with all *** procedures and all applicable regulatory agency requirements.

Requires associates or bachelor's degree in a technical / industrial field.
2+ years of experience in manufacturing, logistics, or other operations-adjacent roles.
Experience in a medical device manufacturing or similarly regulated environment is preferred.
Computer software knowledge is required (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Flexible and adaptable due to rapid changes in product demand and project priority, team player, self-starter, keen to acquire new skills.
Fluency of English (written and speaking) is required.
