Temp to Hire opportunities in Northwest Houston for an Oil & Gas manufacturing company

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Pay: $18 - $21+ for entry-level candidates, with some flexibility for candidates with more experience

We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Manufacturing Technicians to join our team. This is an entry-level position ideal for individuals who are eager to learn, grow, and contribute to our shop operations.

There are multiple openings in various departments such as Alloy, Thermite, and Ceramic Coating.

Job Description - will be based on the department to which you are assigned.

Duties may include:

1. Building and assembling of tools
2. Maintain all gauges, tools, and other related equipment used for casting
3. Maintain all molds, trays, racks, and other equipment related to thermite manufacturing
4. Apply ceramic coatings to an assortment of surfaces
5. Independently operate coating production equipment in accordance with SOPs, run sheets, and routing
6. Operate forklifts to move material and equipment safely

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist in various tasks around the shop.
2. Operate forklifts to move materials and equipment safely.
3. Support team members in daily shop activities.
4. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
5. Follow safety protocols and guidelines at all times.

Qualifications:

• Forklift experience is a must.
• Positive attitude and willingness to work.
• Excellent verbal/written communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Mechanical or technical aptitude.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• High School Diploma/GED.
• Ability to pass a drug test and background check.
