Actalent is hiring Manufacturing Technicians for a leading pharmaceutical manufacturer in Fall River, MA. This permanent role offers hands-on training in GMP environments and exposure to equipment, processes, and cross-functional teams.

You will operate and support manufacturing and packaging lines, complete documentation, and participate in continuous improvement while working a 12-hour rotating shift schedule on site in Fall River.

• Support CAPA investigations and validation projects.

Actalent is hiring Manufacturing Technicians for a leading pharmaceutical manufacturer in Fall River, MA. This is an exciting opportunity for recent graduates and early-career professionals looking to launch a career in pharmaceutical manufacturing, engineering, or life sciences.

In this role, you'll participate in a structured training program supporting manufacturing and packaging operations while gaining hands‑on experience in a highly regulated GMP environment. You'll work with advanced production equipment, learn pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure the delivery of high‑quality products.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Fall River, MA.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and support pharmaceutical manufacturing and packaging equipment
• Learn equipment setup, startup, changeovers, cleaning, and troubleshooting procedures
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), batch records, and manufacturing instructions
• Accurately complete production and quality documentation
• Perform in-process checks and inspections to ensure product quality
• Adhere to current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), safety requirements, and company procedures
• Support continuous improvement initiatives, investigations, CAPA activities, and validation projects
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, Validation, and Automation teams
• Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant production environment

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor's degree in:
• Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Biomedical, or related field)
• Chemistry
• Biology
• Biochemistry
• Pharmaceutical Sciences
• Other related technical disciplines
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
• Mechanical aptitude and interest in manufacturing equipment
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred

• GMP or pharmaceutical manufacturing experience
• Knowledge of SOPs, CAPA processes, inspection systems, or laboratory practices
• Experience working in regulated manufacturing environments

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Frequent walking, bending, reaching, and production-related activities
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to wear required PPE and respiratory protection when necessary
• Comfortable working in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment and following gowning and sanitation requirements

Schedule

12-Hour Rotating Shifts Available

Day Shift (A Shift)

• 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Night Shift (B Shift)

• 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Rotation

• 3 days on / 4 days off
• 4 days on / 3 days off

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $70720.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
