Job description

Our aerospace manufacturing client in Rochester, NH is seeking Operators for a DIRECT HIRE role on 2nd and 3rd shifts! In this role, you will perform functions associated with all manufacturing operations, including equipment operation/set up and in-process product inspection. You will be responsible for the manufacture, inspection, and final product of composite products. This role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to cross-function in many manufacturing processes.

Shift Details:
  • 2nd Shift: Monday – Friday, 3pm-11pm ($23.52)/hour
  • 3rd Shift: Sunday – Thursday, 11pm-7am ($25.20)/hour
Responsibilities:
  • Perform manufacturing operations associated with producing quality composites and components.
  • Produce quality products per work instructions.
  • Accurately and efficiently set up equipment to produce quality products.
  • Execute daily autonomous maintenance and start-up activities.
  • Perform inspection of products during the production process as required.
  • Assist in developing improvement methods and practices to increase quality and productivity.
  • Accurately complete documentation associated with the production process.
  • Perform timely and accurate transactions of workflow in ERP system.
  • Participate in inventory cycle counts, variance investigation, and reconciliation.
  • Assist in performing process capability studies, equipment installation qualifications, and process validation.
  • Assist in investigating and implementing corrective actions on product and process failures.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures including safety regulations, PPE requirements, SOPs, Work Instructions, and GMPs.
  • Maintain a clean and safe manufacturing environment.
  • Review manufacturing documentation, assembly, inspection, test, packaging procedures, and provide feedback.
  • Meet operational goals in Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost.
Desired Background/Skills:
  • High School diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in manufacturing (aerospace or composites preferred).
  • Ability to read and interpret work instructions.
  • Physical demands include stooping, crouching, walking, pulling, light lifting (up to 25 pounds), grasping, hearing, visual acuity, kneeling, reaching, pushing, standing, and climbing.
  • Indoor production environment with adequate lighting and comfortable temperatures; occasional exposure to moderate noise and machinery with moving parts.
