Job summary

This contract position goes up to 18 months, with a W2 through a staffing supplier, paying $25-$28/hr. Requires an AA degree with cleanroom experience or HS diploma with related experience; military experience may substitute.

Qualifications

• AA degree in a technical discipline plus 1 year work experience in Semiconductor cleanroom.
• Military experience accepted in lieu of AA degree.
• Or HS Diploma/GED with 3 years semiconductor cleanroom experience or 3 years production with a focus on using computers/software.

Responsibilities

• Operate complex equipment and analytical tools in wafer fabrication.
• Perform routine operations supporting wafer fabrication in a specific area.
• Troubleshoot issues and perform minor preventative maintenance as required.
• Follow standard procedures and gowning requirements in a 12-hour shift environment.

Manufacturing Technician (Semiconductor)

Location: Chandler, AZ (100% onsite)

Contract Duration: Up to 18 months

Contract Type: W2 through Staffing Supplier

Shifts: Various Day and Evening Shifts (typically 3-4 12-hour shifts/week)

Pay Rate:$25-$28/hr (dependent on shift)

Operates complex equipment and analytical tools, processes, state of the art 12” silicon wafers in a clean room environment, which requires appropriate gowning. Technicians are gowned in a gore suit that covers them from head to toe as they perform the work duties. Multi-tasked responsibilities may include minor preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, non-standard processing and problem-solving.Primary job duties are to perform a variety of routine operations supporting wafer fabrication in a specific functional area. Position requires working efficiently from standard procedures and specifications. Technicians typically work 12-hour shifts and spend the majority of their time standing to perform the work. Some, if not all, tasks performed require repetitive motion to an extent.

Requirements:

• AA degree (technical discipline) + 1 year work experience in Semiconductor cleanroom (military experience accepted in lieu of Associate degree)

OR meet one of these qualifications:

COMPLETED HS Diploma/GED with:3-year work experience in Semiconductor cleanroom OR 3-year work experience in production with a focus on utilizing computers/ software.(High School Diploma/GED required)
