  • Verify the integrity and quality of materials to be assembled in accordance with documented assembly procedures and work instructions.

  • Assemble components in a specific sequence using the proper tooling and equipment specified in procedures and work instructions.

  • Perform visual inspection of components and assemblies according to documented procedures and work instructions.

  • Identify and promptly report defective components, assemblies, or materials to the appropriate team members.

  • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of work-in-process records associated with the assigned work cell.

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area and surrounding workspace to support safe and efficient operations.

  • Use hand tools such as tweezers, rulers, cutters, torque drivers, torque wrenches, and screwdrivers to perform precise mechanical assembly tasks.

  • Interpret and follow mechanical and electrical drawings, procedures, and visual aids to complete assemblies correctly.

  • Support semiconductor manufacturing, research and development, and production activities as needed.

  • Perform precision placement and assembly of mechanical components using microscopes and glovebox equipment when required.

  • Collaborate effectively with team members, communicating issues and ideas to improve processes and resolve problems.

  • Apply critical thinking to troubleshoot issues, suggest solutions, and avoid waiting passively for instructions when challenges arise.

  • Fulfill any other related responsibilities as directed and necessary to support business needs.

Essential Skills

  • Experience in semiconductor manufacturing, research and development, or production environments.

  • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and ISO 9001 quality standards.

  • Ability to use various hand tools such as tweezers, rulers, cutters, torque drivers, torque wrenches, and screwdrivers for precise assembly work.

  • Ability to interpret visual aids and understand mechanical and electrical drawings.

  • Skill in precision mechanical component placement and assembly.

  • Experience working with glovebox systems for controlled-environment tasks.

  • Experience using microscopes for inspection and fine assembly work.

  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate clearly with colleagues.

  • Strong organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Demonstrated critical thinking skills and a proactive approach to solving problems rather than waiting for direction.

  • 3+ years of relevant experience preferred.

  • Familiarity with startup environments and the flexibility to adapt to evolving processes and priorities.

  • Comfort working with structured quality systems and documentation in manufacturing settings.
