Job summary

Savant Systems, Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to work onsite at our Hyannis, MA location.

The role involves reworking products to meet production goals, supporting the supply chain, and learning software and firmware updates on companion modules. Responsibilities include following procedures, building power distribution units, converting thermostats and keypads, and gaining familiarity with Salesforce while assisting shipping duties for a portion of each day.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail and ability to perform consistent operations.
• Experience in production environment is a plus, but not necessary. We will train.
• Good communication skills to identify any issues.
• Comfortable working with Apple iOS devices.

Job Description

Position Summary

We are seeking a Manufacturing Technician to perform a variety of tasks while working onsite at our Hyannis, MA location.

Key Responsibilities

OBJECTIVES

• Rework product to meet production goals.
• Work with Operations to track and ensure completion of rework objectives.
• Assist the supply chain personnel with activities related to reworking components.

DUTIES

• Follow written procedures.
• Utilize manual dexterity and strong attention to detail.
• Companion rework. Load software and update firmware on our companion modules.
• Thermostat conversion.
• Keypad conversion
• Build power distribution units
• Computer skills - learn Salesforce
• Pressing buttons into keypads.
• This person will also be trained to learn shipping duties, which you will do a few hours per day.

TECHNOLOGY

• Home Automation / Smart Home technology products such as: Smart Light Bulbs, Smart Electrical Plugs, Smart Thermostats, Smart Keypads.

COMPENSATION

• The payrange is $22- $25 per hour DOE.The payrange listed is an estimate. Pay at Savant is determined by multiple factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's geographical location, relevant education, experience and skills and an evaluation of internal pay equity.
• This is a direct-hire position with full benefits including:medical insurance; dental insurance; vision plan; life insurance; pet insurance; FSA / HSA; 12 paid holidays; paid vacation days; 401k plan with employer match.
