Job summary

Oatey Co. is seeking an assembler on the Minnesota production floor. You will read SOPs, assemble components for daily schedules, and stage products for packaging across a range of plumbing products.

The role requires basic math, clear communication, and the ability to operate machinery. Blueprint reading or willingness to learn is preferred, with 1–2 years in manufacturing recommended. High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Qualifications

• Basic math, reading and writing skills.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to operate machinery.
• Ability to read blueprints or willingness to learn.
• Accuracy in measuring.
• Decision-making skills.
• 1–2 years in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and/or Assemble components according to SOP’s by reading, understanding and following procedures.
• Follow daily schedule for assembly.
• Prepare and assemble components and materials as needed for daily schedule build.
• Order raw materials where appropriate.
• Set up equipment and tools for daily build.
• Stage Product and label where appropriate.
• Document completed and incomplete product.
• Other duties as assigned.
