Job summary

HORIBA, Ltd. in Reno, NV is seeking a Manufacturing Technician for its North American Semiconductor group.

In a cleanroom, you will assemble, configure, install, and test mechanical and electro-mechanical components, following detailed instructions. You will work with pressure, flow, calibration and temperature instrumentation, perform flow tests, verify quality, inspect parts, and package items for inventory and shipment, under guidance from a manufacturing engineer.

Qualifications

• Certificate or AS degree from a technical school or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of mechanical and electro-mechanical systems.
• Knowledge of electrical and related mechanical principles.
• MS Windows and MS Office with emphasis on Excel.
• Ability to read schematics/blueprints (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Assemble, configure, install, and test mechanical and electro-mechanical components in a cleanroom.
• Use pressure, flow, calibration and temperature instrumentation.
• Perform product flow testing of flow restrictors and record data.
• Verify testing and meet quality standards.
• Visual inspection and sampling of flow restrictor assemblies and materials.
• Package and label flow restrictors for inventory and shipment.
• Follow detailed assembly instructions under supervision.

Our North American Semiconductor group is searching for a Manufacturing Technician in Reno, NV.

Key Responsibilities include:

• In a cleanroom environment, assemble, configure, install, and test mechanical components and electro-mechanical components.
• Utilize various pressure, flow, calibration and temperature instrumentation.
• Perform product flow testing of flow restrictors and monitor and record test data.
• Perform verification testing and meet quality standards.
• Perform visual inspection of flow restrictor assemblies and incoming production material and collect samples for further inspection if required.
• Package and label flow restrictors for inventory and shipment.
• Work from detailed assembly instructions, drawings and specifications, under guidance of the manufacturing engineer.

Skills and Knowledge

Required:

• Knowledge of mechanical and electro-mechanical systems
• Knowledge of electrical and related mechanical principles, assembly applications and sequences
• General electrical assembly experience and knowledge of electrical and related mechanical principles
• Certificate or AS degree from a technical school or equivalent experience
• Knowledge of MS Windows and MS Office with emphasis on Excel
• Ability to read and understand schematics/blueprints preferred
• Knowledge of cleanroom protocol helpful but not required
