Schaeffler Technologies AG & Co. KG is seeking a Manufacturing Technology Engineer (Linear) for our Fort Mill, SC location. You will help develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing technology for both new and existing Schaeffler products.

The role emphasizes statistical measures of quality, efficiency, sustainability, and robustness, plus collaboration with multiple internal teams to ensure smooth production and optimal tooling and processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering field and 1 year of experience.
• Proficiency with Python/Java/C++ and data analysis tools.
• Familiarity with quality planning techniques and SPC/FMEA concepts.

Responsibilities

• Realize development, implementation and optimization of manufacturing technology for production of new and existing Schaeffler products.
• Initiate, drive, and coordinate the development, implementation, and optimization of manufacturing technologies using statistical measures for quality, efficiency, sustainability, and robustness.
• Conduct process investigations to fine-tune equipment and process setup considering product, material, tooling, and location.
• Review new technology launches regarding product design/material feasibility and impact on cycle time and quality.
• Support production to identify and solve issues using production data and statistical/digital measures.
• Create manufacturing process documentation including equipment/technology release docs and setup instructions.
