Job summary

MKS is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Technician 3 to support Production with the Technical Operations team. You will report to the Equipment Services Manager and help on PM, parts management, and data analysis across multiple sites.

The role requires an AA or equivalent, 2+ years in parts management, and proficiency with MS Office. Travel is minimal; a discretionary annual bonus is offered along with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• AA degree, military technical training, or related on-the-job experience.
• 2+ years' experience with parts management (procurement, shipping/receiving, inventory).
• Relative technician experience in repair/maintenance.
• Ability to collect and analyze basic experimental data and communicate results.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Experience with PM and/or inventory database is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support the manufacturing floor and respond to equipment issues; perform preventive maintenance requirements.
• Read schematics/diagrams/descriptions for validation and troubleshooting.
• Assist in determining actions to remedy equipment malfunctions and PM needs.
• Use manufacturing test, development or diagnostic equipment; may require software skills.
• Manage lab and critical spare parts inventory across multiple sites; analyze storage and identify improvements.
• Assist with shipping/receiving of parts for equipment builds and critical spares.
