Job summary

Clayton is seeking a dedicated Home Building Team Member to support production across departments within our home-building process. You will follow standard methods, observe safe work habits, and collaborate with others to meet quality and productivity goals.

Ideal candidates will have a High School diploma or GED and be willing to learn, read construction drawings when needed, and maintain clear communication in a fast-paced environment. Clayton offers full-time hours and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read confirmation orders and build accurately with minimal quality issues
• Ability to learn from feedback and follow procedures
• Clear and effective communication
• Ability to read architectural and engineering drawings greatly desired

Responsibilities

• Practice safe work habits to ensure production is efficient and safe while observing OSHA regulations
• Work in a team environment to produce products that conform to quality standards and productivity objectives
• Protect company assets, report maintenance needs, and keep areas clean and orderly
• Assist Team Leader and Area Coordinator to plan and organize manufacturing activities, flag material shortages and tool maintenance
• Perform other duties assigned
