Job summary

Clayton Homes is seeking a Home Building Team Member to perform manufacturing production operations across departments in the home building process. You will follow standard production methods, safety practices, and communicate to support efficient, high-quality output.

The role emphasizes teamwork, ability to read basic drawings, and adherence to safety standards while contributing to a productive, inclusive workplace with a strong emphasis on employee development and benefits.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Willingness to transfer across departments when needed.
• Ability to read architectural and engineering drawings is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Practice safe work habits to ensure production is efficient and safe while observing all relevant OSHA regulations.
• Work in a team environment to produce products that conform to our quality standards while achieving our productivity objectives.
• Serve as a good steward of our company’s physical assets, protecting them from damage and misuse, reporting all needed maintenance, keeping assigned areas clean and orderly.
• Assist Team Leader and Area Coordinator to plan and organize the manufacturing activities in your area by communicating anticipated material shortages, identifying required tool maintenance, and communicating any quality and productivity issues.
• Perform other duties assigned.
